ORCHID LANDSCAPE DISPLAY
Registration
- For landscape registration, you must have at least 1 representative for 25 sqm landscape, 2 representatives for 50 sqm landscape and 3 representatives for 100 sqm landscape to finish online registration. Only registrants will be able to reserve the host hotel. The fee is NT$8,000 per registrant, including Opening Ceremony, Welcome Dinner, and Tainan Night. If other members of the group would like to join these social events, they must finish the registration and pay the fee too.

Travel Expense Reimbursement:
- One designated representative per group can receive travel expense reimbursement.
- Reimbursement amounts:
- Groups from Asia: NT$14,100
- Groups from America/Europe: NT$28,200
Note: Subsidies will not be cumulative. The most favorable subsidy option will be applied.

- The Landscape Display will be held at the Taiwan Orchid Technology Park (TOTP) as part of the Event.
- The Event will be officially open to the public from Saturday March 8th, 2025, until Sunday March 23rd, 2025.
Display Setup Period
Heavy machinery and vehicles: March 1st – 3re, 2025
100 sqm, 50 sqm Display Setup: March 1st – 5th, 2025
25 sqm Display Setup: March 3rd – 5th, 2025
Display setup must be completed during this period.
Judging Day
March 6th, 2025
Landscape Theme
The theme of the landscape display must reflect the characteristic features of the exhibitor's country and culture.
Landscape Layout Notice and Regulation
- Landscaper must email their display design layout to tioscontact@gmail.com before 2024/11/15. The organizing committee will evaluate the submissions and inform applicants whether they are qualified to set up their landscape display.
- Landscaper must email the title name of their display, and their design concept as a WORD file to tioscontact@gmail.com before 2024/12/31. The information will be present during the exhibition.
- The height limit of the display is 4 meters.
- Structure safety should be considered in the design of the exhibits. Organizer may notify the landscapers to make improvements when there are safety concerns.
- Iron nails cannot be used at the backboard of display setup.
- Curtains and ornaments used for display arrangements should be made of fireproof material.
- Lay-out of the exhibits should be confined within the area specified by the organizer, the orchid display should mark the orchid genus name at least.
- Only a standardized fascia name produced by the organizer can be used within the exhibition area: posters or promotional materials are not allowed.
- Landscapers must bring their own team, have your culture and your idea of design, can't hire the local company in Taiwan to do the whole setup.
- Newly collected wild plants must not be exhibited, no violation of CITES is allowed.
- The display can only consist of orchids and plants with green foliage; non-orchid flowers cannot be used, and it is not permitted to use artificial flowers.
- Orchids and natural elements must comprise at least 70% of the visual display. Artificial materials and composite media may be used, but must not exceed 30% of the visual display.
- All plants, including orchids, must be alive and fresh. Appropriate use of balanced decoration is acceptable.
- Exhibit setup must be completed on time (by 6 p.m. March 5th, 2025). Subsidy of any kind will not be provided to the entities that violate this rule.
- All Landscape Displays, orchid plants, and materials must remain in place until the designated tear-down date. The only exception is for orchids or materials that require refreshing or replacement. In such cases, these items may be removed or replaced only with explicit permission from the Organizer. No other removals are permitted before the official tear-down date.
- International groups participating in the landscape display must provide a contact person and their phone number for the organizer to contact regarding tear-down procedures.
- Violators of the above rules may be disqualified for participation if they failed to make effective improvements after being notified by the Organizer. In this case, their subsidies may also be cancelled.
